It is the thesis of this poetry book that Americans are still fighting, sometimes violently the Civil War we thought was over  more than a century ago!

This is not a book about spirituality. It's     A CELEBRATION      of spirituality as a normal and essential element of self-realization and human progress.

This is a narrative about black politics in Boston from 1920 to 1960, taken from the memories of black Bostonians between July of 1988 and February of 1989.

    Reviews for Berlin

This is such a unique book. Congratulations for writing it and piecing together your disparate experiences in Germany. I found it a love letter about Germany, emotionally, historically, and politically – and as a morality tale. You have the ability to draw the reader into the scene with your eye for detail and the emotional drive of a young man seeking love and his place in a world filled with loneliness and alienation. It was heartfelt. Such a story would touch the lives of many who have had similar experiences.
