

My Story
Lance Carden (shown at left) was a longtime editor and writer at The Christian Science Monitor newspaper. He has published four books of poetry: Tuscan Retreat (2013), City of Lions (2015), Spiritual Exercise (2019), and The Civil War, It Ain't Over Yet (2021). In 1989, Boston College published his book Witness, An Oral History of Black Politics in Boston 1920-1960, reprinted by Wipf and Stock in 2022.
